Economy Update

The US NFP inspired a Wall St rally on Friday which was accelerated by the idea of it leading to an easier FED approach. Trump has said Sino/US talks are 'advanced' in front of meet in London today. This overshadows poor inflation readings from China. Deflation continues with PPI registering near 2-year lows, -3.3% YoY May and CPI down 0.1%. Exports and Imports also reduce. Little else on the docket with European holidays. DAX -0.46%, CAC 0.00%, FTSE -0.36%, Euro STOXX600 +0.11%. FED is in blackout period and USD gives back Friday’s gains, DXY 98.85. Gold 3321. BTC $106,779.
