China Fixed Asset Investment, Industrial Production, House Price Index and important Retail Sales all missed expectation and speculation China will now miss its 5% GDP target grows. No news from Sino/US trade talks in Madrid. APAC sees a sluggish opening with Japan closed, but tech is dragged as China accuses Nvidia of violating antitrust laws. Fitch’s downgrade of France on Friday was telegraphed so there is little reaction to the EURO. Everything else is centred around this week's Central Bank action and mainly the FOMC decision.
